Podemos and EH Bildu leaders will meet at the headquarters of the sovereign coalition in Vitoria-Gasteiz
The general secretary of Podemos, Jone Belarra, and the general secretary of EH Bildu, Arnaldo Otegi, will meet this coming Friday in Vitoria-Gasteiz as part of the round of contacts announced by the sovereign leader to analyze the possibility of promoting «a democratic, popular, and plurinational project» against «the block of the right and the far right» and that «structurally combats corruption.»
The meeting, in which Podemos Political Secretary Irene Montero, and EH Bildu Organization Secretary Sonia Jacinto will also participate, will take place starting at 11:30 a.m. at the headquarters of the sovereign coalition in the capital of Alava.
«DEMOCRATIC, POPULAR, AND PLURINATIONAL PROJECT»
The meeting comes just a week after Otegi announced a round of contacts with all those formations «that have supported in one way or another the investiture block,» in order to «share diagnosis» about the need to activate «a democratic, popular, and plurinational project.»
This project –in Otegi’s opinion– should launch «a truly democratic scenario» to «face the block of the right and the far right and the reactionary block,» as well as to «structurally combat corruption,» and to «arouse popular majorities in Euskal Herria, in Catalonia, and in other regions of the State.»
